Thunderstorms in the mountains are usually intense, full of crashing thunder and pouring rain. All that water rushes down the mountain landscape and can turn a dry stream bed into a roaring river. When the sun comes out after one of these storms the play of light on the rushing waterfalls is so beautiful and comforting.
